Samsung Blackjack owners, you may now take a breath!
Samsung has finally released the Windows Mobile 6 version for your original Blackjacks! The new Blackjack II already comes with Windows Mobile 6 and it would only be appropriate that the oh so popular original gets it too.
Good move and here is the link: http://www.samsungwireless.com/techtrain/tekweb/support/downloads/EULA_popup_sgh_i607_patch.html
There are some instructions to quickly follow aswell.

Sharper Image has begun selling unlocked GSM phones!
They have introduced 4 unlocked phones that will meet different consumers who have different expectations for their phones.
The first phone in the line up (first picture starting most left) is the PDA phone with Windows Mobile. It has built in GPS and bluetooth along with a MicroSD card slot. Expect to pay $499.95.
The second phone is a slider! It has a music player along with a MicroSD slot that can store up to 1GB. There is also bluetooth and a VGA camera on board. Expect to pay $249.95.
The third phone is the simple flip phone. Even though it is so simple without many external features, it packs a media player along with a MicroSD slot. There is no bluetooth and no camera. Expect to pay $169.95
The last fourth phone is a copy of the LG Chocolate from Verizon Wireless. It has heat sensitive controls on the front of the phone and on top of having those controls, the screen is touch sensitive! So basically, instead of having the slider, it has all of the dialing done on the touch screen. There is a 1.3 megapixel camera and bluetooth with a media player. Expect to pay $299.99.

According to statistics provided by Google, iPhone users have used their internet more than listening to music through the built in iPod.
Not only that but, Google has recieved more bandwidth traffic from iPhones than any other cellular phone device. Big feat seeing how competitive this market is. The iPhone’s Safari browser is the benchmark in its class which explains why it is so popular.
The iPhone is the #1 contributor of bandwidth usage to Google but who is behind the iPhone?
#2 - Smartphones including Palm and Windows Mobile devices.
#3 - The rest of the phone market (Dumb-Phones)

Windows has annouced that Vista’s successor will be on time for its release in 2009.
The code name so far in these neck of the woods refer to the successor as Windows 7. I am hoping the speed and hardware dependency will be better with the next incarnation.
But of course with Windows, you never know. With Bill Gates out of the picture, I guess Windows will go big this time around. I expect delays and a 2010 release instead of 2009.

Pictures have leaked and Windows Mobile 7 seems to be quite handsome in the making. But will it be enough to challenge Mr. iPhone?
The pictures show movements that will be made with your finger swipes and gestures. The interface looks very Vista which could be a good thing if the processing speed is good.
Verizon Wireless should be interested with their recent annoucement of an open network too.
