Maria Sharapova has moved to Sony Ericsson after her long duration with Motorola. She will endorse the brand globally and Sony Ericsson will hopefully have sales rise.
Sony Ericsson is also the sponsor of the WTA Tour which is the professional tennis tour Maria plays on so ultimately, Maria is endorsing the WTA tour along with the Sony branded phones.
Hopefully this partnership will promote tennis along with great phones.

Amazon.com as annouced that they have convinced Sony to not take the DRM route.
This news means Sony’s digital music will be free of copy protection which is great for those who want to share what they have. Amazon is expected to have Sony’s music on their website later this month to sell.

There is no doubt Ford has been a consistant seller of cars in the United States for a long time! Ford just only recently have lost their #2 ranking to Toyota.
And of course there is no doubt Sony has experience with stereos and music. Why not blend the two?
That is exactly what is happening. Ford annouces that this year, 2008, they will be incorporating Sony stereos into their cars.
The match is a match made in heaven I think because a lot of cars out there today have subpar stereos. With Sony, Ford will have profound sounding systems and the Sony name will always attract consumers. Good job - Ford & Sony.

There’s plenty of good cameras out there, and more expensive isn’t always better.
So here are my current hot picks for various budgets, and they’re all good cameras. This isn’t intended to be a big list, more a hand-picked selection of the best. (more…)
